We were priviledged to share in a couple(s) IVF and fertility journey.  Reiki helped reduce the stress and anxiety for (Mr and Mrs M) a couple that had experienced miscarriage 5 times.  The full story can be seen as an attachment under the Newsletter section - and was published in Reiki News Magazine 2011.   

REIKI & IVF : Reiki and IVF is my story.  I have no words to explain how much I loved it.  I used to fear that people should not know about my story.  But now I feel that if knowing about my sotry could give some hope and positive strength to other ladies like me then I would love to spread positivity.  After 8 long years of suffering, tried different doctors, different medicines in different countries.  All had the same answer "there is no medical problem".  but then why am I suffering??  And they have no answer.  This of course leads to depression, fall in relationships and overall fall in life.   Thankfully one of my friends suggested Reiki and I started looking up for Reiki on the internet and Thank God I found Denise and Shona.

I was not aware of Chakras and how important it is for the energy to flow in our body, till I met these wonderful ladies.  just after a few sessions I felt a drastic change in me.  I was less depressed, more energetic AND I KNEW I WAS GETTING BETTER.  Just a few months later, we heard the good news.  My Doctors and Reiki helped me through this journey and now I will soon have the biggest gift of life"   Mrs M, Papatoetoe, Auckland   24/02/2011  (Baby boy was born on the 10/03/11, weighing 9 pounds).

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE :   Hi Denise and Shona, In June I came to you for help to see if you could lower my blood pressure, reading160/80.  I was reluctant to go on medication.  In our discussion you said you get good results with clients in regard to high blood pressure.  (y,er right).  After two appointment I revisited the clinic in August, surprisingly the reading 150/80.  With such pleasing results I had another appointment.  Then I put it behind me and moved on.  In September you ask me to be a Case Study for your course with your students for one hour on Sunday - I gladly accepted.  On Monday I decided to call into the clinic to check my blood pressure, SUPPRISE 138/78.  What amazing result.  The nurse was very surprise!  Very good . and no medication.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR REIKI.  It sure is different, IT MADE A DIFFERENCE. THANK YOU Terry Wong, Auckland  14/09/10

Hi Denise and Shona, All is good on the home front after the operation on my right knee.  Before - I had high blood pressure and my knee operation was put off for three months.  I was due for another assessment by the doctor, my blood pressures was too high, I mean 210/80 REALLY HIGH.  This gave me great concern for my health.  I am also diabetic.  Anyway, on Thursday my daughter rang Denise to make an appointment.  They could fit me in on Tuesday, just before my appointment at the Super Clinic on that Wednesday.  Wow what a wonderful release.  I was on cloud nine seeing all those colours.  Dark purples, bright pinks and flickers of gold - all the time relaxed and just a warm feeling in side, so uplifting.  Felt like everything was just melting away.  Well that next day I was off to the Super Clinic, this time feeling revitalized and calm.  I went in, the nurse took my blood pressure and what a difference, it had gone down to 135/75 !! This was great news the doctor said "all looks good how soon do you want this operation, the next available spot is on Tuesday".  I took it.  Was prepped Monday and operated on Tuesday.  On Wednesday night Denise and Shona came to the hospital it was lovely to see them.  They also did a healing there, to speed up my bodys recovery.  Just beautiful, thank you so much, you are like angels ....  A very BIG thank you to Denise and Shona.  Reiki healing is so amazing it gives me a sense of divine timing in my life.  Now I can go on my holiday next month to Noumea.  Truly Something Different.  Arohanui.  Neta Tavita, Pukekohe 03/08/10

Dear Denise and Shona, Just wanted to let you know that I have got an almost complete all clear from the surgeon today.  The removal of the lymph nodes, when he explained the procedure sounded reasonable and even though they were all completely clear of cancer, I now understand why the removal was carried out and I am now able to be thankful for that.  He said it was the lowest grade cancer possible and that he could almost say that it was a complete cure!  He said I had the option of radiation therapy to follow and that would be my choice and I could discuss this with the readiotherapist to make an informed choice.  He said that I was healing up really nicely and I told him that I was giving and receiving regular Reiki and he didn't seem fazed.  He even seemed to know about it an said how good that was!  Anyway my dear friends, needless to say, I will have a good nights sleep tonight, the first for several weeks I think - Much love and thank you for all your Reiki love.   E.S, Papatoetoe 21/12/10

We met with you on the Tuesday and then went out and had drinks etc; so I wasn't able to really absorb the healing and carry out the water intake, rest, sleep etc;  However I did manage a moon bath at midnight out under the glorious moon, and I felt this went in some small way to a holistic outcome - albeit full of food and a little alcohol.  Anyway Tuesday Reiki Day.  Wednesday fine.  Thursday someone turned on the waterworks and I cried until I had sausage eyes.  Through the tears flowed a realisation of suppressed feelings.  (you mentioned I had compartmentalised things and pushed them down).  I was talking to my husband and I used the words like fear, scared, worried, concerned, angry.  I thought I had dealt with these "words".  These words are attached to extended family situations, out of my control, but I constantly need to manage my feelings as they are in my life constantly.  So I cried all day and then squeezed out some more as instructed, and I also spat up some bile strangely - wrote all my negative and suppressed words onto a piece of paper and posted it in an unmarked envelope.  Then I came home and wrote out a list of wonderfully positive words and stuck them by my bed.  I just wanted to share this feedback with you so you continue to grow and believe the spiritual growth you are capable of.  I know I love the feedback from clients and it empowers me and encourages me to continue.  Thanks once again for some wonderful insight.  My husband and I are up in Auckland in the holidays and would like to book in for a session together.  Love and light  B.J, Tauranga BOP

ABSENT HEALING :  Feedback - at 8.30pm when I was getting ready for bed I felt my tummy start to convulse a little and feel active.  I had some jumping in my left leg, twitching and contorsion movements in my face!   When I woke this morning my tummy was the flattest and calmest it has been for a long time and I have lost 1.5kgs over the last 2 weeks ... Kia Ora Denise and Shona.  After our session my body was fine.  Just thought a lot about what we talked about.  Got a few things off my chest.  Sleeping has not been that great, but I put that down to my lack of exercise.  I used to walk a lot.   Memories/wave of tears have certainly happened when I am alone.  Reiki has made me look at myself as a person.  I will want another Reiki session.  Kind regards to you both.  Arohanui.  Raewyn D, Auckland 11/04/10

REIKI ON BABIES : Just helping a friend out by spreading her word ... Denise Wong and her mother Shona are natural healers and focus on the art of Reiki.  They are passionate about helping people and run their small healing business from home.  My twins Georgia and Rosa were treated by them due to the effects of the "pretzel like" state in the womb.  The treament helped relieve some uncomfortable tension in their bodes which subsequently helped them to have peaceful sleeps.  I highly recommend Denise and Shona for any aches or pains, as their approach is very respectful, calm and highly professional.   Mia, Auckland  20/04/09

CANCER :  Eileena Sucich - Northland, NZ   Received a beautiful testimonial from Eileena Sucich, Reiki One - who's gone "leaps and bounds" since completing her course earlier in the year.  She's currently in Australia, working as a care-giver.  We wish Eileena much love and light.    “To start this so that people know who I am I must write how my journey bought me to you to learn and experience that which is called Reiki.
 
Somewhere early in 2008 I found a lump in my left breast, what turned out to be dreaded breast cancer.  I went through a scan, mammogram and core biopsy which revealed a level 3 carcinoma, very aggressive, that was 4.3cm in diameter.  I was lucky that it hurt because it was so aggressive and fast growing, that if it didn't hurt and went undetected, I wouldn't of lived o see the end of 2008.  (By the way they removed a 6.5cm lump).
 
No one knew (at that stage) save for me and my doctor.  However, I was still at work and one of the Registered Nurses had bought in her ANGEL cards, and decided that she was going to READ ME.  I dealt and cut them, the first card dropped, "Eileena" she began "have you heard of REIKI" she went further to explain it all to me, and told me that I was a natural healer who healed by my presence, but I was going to meet a Reiki Master and I was going to learn how to channel it.  OK? I said with a great deal of sceptism.
 
She dropped the 2nd card, frowned over it, looked up at me and asked "Eileena are you sick?"  Well a single tear escaped from my eye, I quickly brushed it away, (I really am not a crier) looked at her, and she was the first person I told "yes, I have breast cancer'
 
Two weeks later I stepped off the plane at Auckland airport returning to NZ for my operation, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.  My family who live in Auckland all met up with me at my big sisters.  Goodness they were a sombre lot.  At that stage of course I was still feeling fine.  Then Charlie (my 36 year old baby brother arrived).  Chas has a really dull and dry voice tone and all he said was "Yeah, do you know Denise, Inano's friend, well she's a Reiki Master, and she wants to see you"!!
 
Coincidence?? I think not!!  It was a hard road that I travelled.  I was humbled through my experiences, and brush with cancer, in awe of the amazing recooperative abilities of our own bodies, enriched yet again by my loving family and I refilled my basket of knowledge with a new gift / education that is, shown a new path thanks to you, Denise.
 
The course was amazing.  I was in awe of what I experienced.  It’s hard to describe, but I will do my best.
 
At one stage of the first degree we were meditating, taught how to see, and draw our chakra out from our bodies.  Mine, and I can only speak for myself were glowing, vibrating, living, spinning, balls of the relevant colours except my Red one.  Honestly, I saw this solid mass of rusty, dirty, dusty, dull ball devoid of life and movement.  Needless to say I did the only natural thing that I could do, and that was breath on it, spit on it, polish it up, spin it, polish some more, wash it ...... and NOW it is as beautiful as the rest.
 
At another stage, I believe we were being attuned.  I remember feeling as if I was being washed by waves of colour (truly a lovely experience) and being hit by a wind of light.  It felt like a strong direct breeze hit me but we were inside with closed doors.  Its not a wind that would knock you off your feet - it doesn't even pass through you, it becomes you, it is within you, its like the Universe becomes One with you - well atl east that's how it felt for me.
 
The last truly unusual or first time experience that I had was when I first healed.  My fingers were alive, separate yet the same.  I felt cold in places, hot in others, dull motionless, too fast, I sensed colours.  Its like my third eye first sees their HARA line, strong, white, straight (at least for me that indicates a good strong line), then I see their Chakras, white, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, yes - in their varying states of health or distress. 
 
I now feel many other sensations such as one visitor had very bad eyes and it felt like I was running my hands over sand paper.  Another's left ear was just thumping (and then they say, I see you've found my bad ear).  Another was very, very cold over the heart - he got growling, what are you doing here, go and see your doctor!!!  (Note:  I am not a Master  - yet).   I also have an indicator - my right thumb tells me when it is time to move on... it literally jumps.
 
Needless to say I must thank you Denise - You are a great teacher, a great master, patient, so very knowledgeable, giving and sharing.  You not only healed me you saved me.  I have learnt how to cry, how to release the tension and anger.  The environment was just so conducive to being able to absorb everything that you offered ... for helping me on my journey I thank you”  Luv Eileena xxx..

REIKI COURSE : I did Reiki One with Denise.  This was a truely lovely experience for me.  It made me discover my inner self, both on a healing and spiritual level.  This makes you fee relaxed, open to the Reiki energy that flows around us in our every day life - called universal life force or energy of life.  When Denise did my first attunement I saw beautiful bright purples, gold, violet colours and a warm feeling - you feel so relaxed its just awesome.  Now when I think about things I stop and take a few breaths then action.  This also helps you to meditate, open to chakra healing and self healing.  Denise has opened my eyes, and I'm going on a journey for myself and if I can help others with natural healing through Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, then why not!  Give it a go - you won't be disappointed.  Inano Tavita-Sucich, Papakura, Auckland

Attended my first "Light Nights" recently and it was fantastic!  Not really knowing what it was all about, by the end of the session I was feeling so much more knowledgeable about "Auras and Chakras".  Denise was a fantastic teacher, very detailed and explanations were in simple terms.  High recommended - a must for everyone who has an interest in finding and learning more about themselves and what's around them.  The session also provided a great opportunity to meet and socialise with others who share the same interests.  I look forward to attending my next session soon.  Natalie Hobson, Auckland 

Light Nights Law of Attraction was fantastic.  Denise clarified for me what I already knew was possible, but added an element of spirituality to it, making me feel more connected to the things around me.  I was able to create a vision board from scratch with absolute focus on me, it was refreshing, stimulating and essential to my being.  Thanks very much Denise.  Mia, Auckland  

What an eye opener for me.  We did the Law of Attraction vision boards, chakras and auras.  We made candles using soy ecolyte wax with Isha Edwards.  Then we did Oracle cards how to read and put into practice.  These nights were great for everyone, and I really enjoyed the company.  Denise is a really good teacher.  Big ups to you Denise!   I Tavita-Sucich, Auckland
